API Heat Transfer is uniquely qualified to provide shell & tube and plate & frame heat exchangers for processing chemicals. Equipment includes sanitary designs in a variety of materials of construction. Shell & tube exchangers can be built to any TEMA design for single and multiple phase operation. Polished process fluid contact surfaces are also available. For assured on-line operations, we can build valved sets of exchangers.
Shell and Tube heat exchangers are available with 304 or 316 stainless steel process sides as commercial standard designs. Type AHT exchangers are available as fixed straight tube, or removable U tube designs.

Custom exchangers are available to 60" in diameter in virtually any commercially available material, tube sheet treatment, including seal and strength welding, sanitary or ANSI connections, and can be equipped with hinged bonnets, to facilitate rapid cleaning of the tube circuit.
